FX International Interior Design Awards
Who may enter the Awards?
The FX International Interior Design Awards and the Blueprint Architecture
Awards are open to architects, designers, clients, manufacturers, importers
or end users of new or refurbished buildings, interior design projects (complete
schemes) or products completed not more than two years before 10 September 2001.
Resubmissions (provided they conform to the time limit) and major redesigns
or redevelopments of existing products are acceptable.
How do I enter?
Ask for the form on T. (++) 44 1245 491717, E. fxawards@wilmington.co.uk, download
it from www.fxawards.com , or enter online at that web address. You may enter
in as many categories as you like. The same piece of work can be entered in
more than one category, in which case it must be treated and paid for each time
as a separate entry. Tick the relevant boxes on the form and submit the multiple
entry fee, which can be paid as one amount. If you are entering on paper, submit
multiple sets of images, one set for each entry. If you are entering online,
there is no need to send multiple sets of images.
Each entry must consist of:
Projects:
An entry form filled out in full. No more than 6 (six) 35mm slides or digital
images of your design. These images may include drawings. Do NOT submit sketches
or drawings on paper.
A typed explanation, in no more than 200 words on a single A4 sheet,
of the design brief, the way in which the solution was provided, and the success
of that solution.
The entry fee of ￡57.00 + VAT (￡9.98) = ￡66.98
Products:
An entry form filled out in full.
No more than 6 (six) 35mm slides or digital images of your product
OR
Six copies of the relevant brochure(s).
If necessary: typed notes on one side of A4 explaining the notable
points of the design, materials, specifications etc.
The entry fee of ￡57.00 + VAT (￡9.98) = ￡66.98
Entering with Digital Images
We welcome entries with digital images in the following ways:
Enter online at www.fxawards.com and e-mail your form, text, payment
and images to fxawards@wilmington.co.uk. Send MAC - READABLE JPEGS of 72dpi,
maximum 20cm image width. DO NOT send forms by post and images by email!
By ISDN to ++44 (0)1245 269911. Send MAC-READABLE JPEGS of 72dpi,
maximum 20cm image width. Enclose the images in a folder entitled 'FXAWARDENTRY/YOUR
NAME' or 'BLUEPRINTAWARDENTRY/YOUR NAME' and contact Sarah Turner on +44 (0)
1245 491717 to tell us you are sending them. Send colour printouts of the images
by post with your form, text and payment.
On CD or Zip disk. Send MAC-READABLE JPEGS of 72dpi, maximum 20cm
image width. Include colour printouts of the images by post with your disk,
form, text and payment.
WE DEAL WITH THOUSANDS OF IMAGES AND FORMS. MAKE SURE ALL YOUR FILES
AND FILENAMES CARRY THE NAMES OF THE ENTRY AND THE ENTRANT.
